Short World War II Film “The Jeep”

Short FilmsWWII – This short (10:24) film set in October of 1944 somewhere in Europe was published to YouTube by Nordgruppe Association (the North Group Association, a German WWII reenacting group) in October of 2017. The synopsis:

A US Medic, alone in a Jeep, encounters SS troops.

While this is a pretty well done film, I am not impressed with the story as it is told. The only dialog is German, though it is pretty obvious what the soldiers are saying. Looking at their Facebook page, they do seem to have product a handful of short films set in WWII.

If you are a student of the World War II era in history, you may find my pages “World War II Sources” (a collection of museums, websites, Facebook pages and Twitter feeds with information on the World War II era in history) and “World War II Timeline” of interest.
