Review of “Titanborn”

“Titanborn” eBook was published in 2016 and was written by Rhett C. Bruno (http://rhettbruno.com). Mr. Bruno has published eight novels.

I received a galley of this novel for review through https://www.netgalley.com. I categorize this novel as ‘R’ because it contains scenes of Violence and Mature Language. The story is set on Earth and on Titan. The primary character is Malcolm Graves a Collector – a sort of bounty hunter and trouble shooter for the Pervinio Corporation.

He is on a forced vacation on Earth after a less than fully successful mission, when a bombing occurs. After almost being killed in the blast, Graves is tasked with investigating. Before he is allowed to start his new mission he is assigned a new partner. A partner that he does not want. The trail soon leads them to Titan. The bombing was carried out by a group that wants Titan to be free from Earth.

The trail leads them into one dangerous situation after another. Graves’ task is complicated with he crosses paths with his estranged daughter.
I enjoyed the just shy of 8 hours I spent reading this 209 page Science Fiction Mystery novel. This is a fast paced story with one thing happening after another. I liked Graves’ character and the ending of the novel. I thought that the choice of cover was intriguing. I give this novel a 4 out of 5.

My book reviews are also published on Goodreads (https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/31181778-john-purvis).
