“Europa Collective #1 – Collective Fight” eBook was published in 2016 and was written by Aaron Hubble. Mr. Hubble has published five novels.

I received a galley of this novel for review through https://www.netgalley.com. I categorize this novel as ‘PG’ because it contains scenes of Violence. This novel is set in a far future where mankind has spread from Earth.

Malone Kay and his wife Luane are struggleing to make ends meet on their far human outpost. The Europa Collective is a criminal organization that demands protection money from those doing business within it’s sphere of influence. Malone is caught without what he owes and his two young daughters are taken as the payment.

Malone and Luane set out on a mission to get their girls back regardless of the cost. They come across and old pilot who is a little on the crazy side, but who is willing to help. Malone is surprised to find that Luane had been hiding a side of her past.

I enjoyed the three hours I spent reading this short 150 page novel. I found the characters interesting and liked the twist of Luane having those skills necessary to get her daughters back. I give this novella a 4 out of 5.

My book reviews are also published on Goodreads (https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/31181778-john-purvis).
